Restaurant FAQ

Straight answers.

What it costs, how you get paid, how delivery works with your own team, and who we let in.

How much does Munchabout cost?

£99 per location per month, ex VAT. That price includes every feature and unlimited orders. Your first month is free, and if you pay yearly you get 2 months free.

Do you really take 0% commission?

Yes. We don't take a percentage of any order, and we don't add fees to your customers' baskets. Our only income is the flat monthly subscription.

What about card fees?

Orders are paid straight to you, so card processing fees (roughly 1–3%, depending on the card) come out of your takings, just as they would on your own card terminal. Munchabout takes nothing from the order on top.

Do I need my own drivers?

For delivery, yes. You deliver with your own team, using driver mode in the Munchabout partner app, which gives every diner live tracking. You set your own delivery fee and keep all of it. No driver on shift? Switch to collection only and keep taking orders.

Who sets my menu prices?

You do. We ask that your Munchabout prices match your in-store prices, with no Munchabout-only mark-ups or upsells. That's the promise diners come to us for.

Is there a contract?

No lock-in contract and no setup fee. Pay monthly and cancel any time; your listing comes down at the end of the period, never in the middle of an order. Our partner terms set it all out.

How do I get paid?

Diners pay you directly, and the money is paid out to your bank weekly. We never hold your takings.

Who can join?

Any registered food business that meets the basics: a good food hygiene rating where your area has a scheme, your full menu with allergens declared, and the same prices you charge in-store. We have a quick chat to get you set up. Most kitchens are live within a few days.

What do I need to set up?

Your menu with allergens for every dish, your opening hours, your delivery fee, radius and minimum order, and your tax settings if you are VAT-registered. A tablet for the kitchen-pass and your drivers' phones for driver mode.

I have more than one site. How does that work?

Each location is £99 a month and has its own hours, menu stock, delivery fee and radius. You see every site from one login, with multi-location reporting included.

Can I pay to be shown higher?

No. Nobody can. Ranking comes from verified diner ratings, so the way up is cooking well and delivering on time.
